Cobra Golf  was founded by Thomas L Crow in 1973.  More accurately known as King Cobra Golf Clubs but nowadays referred to simply as Cobra Golf , they were one of the first golf manufacturers to recognise the need for a utility club and produced their Baffler club long before utility clubs became popular.

American Brands Inc purchased King Cobra Golf Clubs in 1996 and Cobra Golf is now part of the Acushnet Group, which features other golfing leaders; FootJoy and Titleist.

King Cobra Golf clubs and Acushnet are both based in Carlsbad, California, U.S.A.

Cobra Golf has many top Tour Professionals under its wing including British player, Ian Poulter, American’s Jason Gore and J.B Holmes, Colombian, Camilo Villegas and Australian, Geoff Ogilvy.

This year King Cobra launched several new products and replaced some of the old faithful drivers with some supped-up clubs.  The baffler also got a make over.
